The cassette tape is also a recorder, allowing you to record from either the CD, radio or microphone. The CD player has programmable memory, giving you the opportunity to customize a playing list. Powered either by an AC adaptor or ten D-size batteries, this dual-voltage player gives you portable opportunities. | I highly recommend anyone try this radio/cd/cassette player. I used it for a family reunion where there was no electricity. The player runs on electricity or batteries and the sound, using batteries, is fantastic. You can also hook up a microphone. It was definitely a good purchase. |

I really like this boom box. It didn't cost alot and it does everything I like to do when I record with an external microphone. Not to many boomboxes have that feature. My first boom box did but it bit the dust.
I was very happy when I found it on Amazon .com. |

| Very good player-recorder.Hard to find today in the world of cd's.Good sound and easy to use.Only negative is machine won't stop auto after rewinding. |

I have been using this radio and CD feature and love the big sound and clear sound it gives.
I mostly plug it in, but if you use the batteries, be ready to lug around a big heavy weight.
The cassette feature is OK, but could be better. The radio works well, but it's hard to tell where the stations are. I had to mark them with masking tape to find them. But I go for the quality of the sound and this one is top notch. The buttons for the CD could be a little clearer to read. Most of the time I have to feel my way around to operate them. |
